As promised....

A little update from the Dubai JazzFest.......We had two really nice evenings there. As I mentioned previously, I was totally looking forward to John Legend and he did NOT disappoint. He was great! Felt so blessed to be able to actually see him live. Ok, I know it's not Jazz, but still.....

While we were waiting for him to get on stage we enjoyed another great artist called Jonathan Butler, from South Africa. He had an amazing voice and had a really upbeat performance. Dave Koz joined him on stage at one point and impressed us with some Sax, fantastic!

The second night we listened to a lady called Lizz Wright, she had a great voice, but the performance was a bit too mellow......Sorry Lizz...!!!!

After listening to her, we had the pleasure of checking out Mike Stern. American Jazz guitarist. He was just awesome! What an artist!

And last but not least, we had the opportunity to hear Incognito. British funk, jazz, soul band. I just say Wohoooooooo! They were brilliant. They really got the crowd going and the performance was out of this world. If you ever get a chance to watch them, do so. Really, really outstanding. One of the singers sounded like a young Stevie Wonder...I mean it. Brilliant stuff!
